We are committed to promote and foster the highest ethical relationship among the Philippine-American women through self-respect, and with the fullest consideration of the Philippine customs and traditions.  It shall undertake all support of social, cultural and civic activities of all its members with the utmost care and love.

Mission: GROWTH
Filipinos have a long history in Louisiana, particularly in the coastal areas of the state's southeastern region. Louisiana may be in a constant existential crisis, but it's the culture and the people we love.
Our Bayanihan is still here; watch us GROW together as one! 

PAWAL's goal is to introduce our heritage to the community by ways of food; the nourishing component of life that allows us to gather and share creating a foodways.
Women exchanging their stories, their recipes, their garden tips, their art, their struggles--their beautiful American dream.
